Long Time Ago...

And as promised, here's a song I wrote back in Hong Kong on the guitar. Only sharing the lyrics here of course. But I would be very glad to share the song one day... (if you ever bump into me when I'm carrying my guitar that is.. cause I ain't got the recording material.... yet, hehe)

- LONG TIME AGO -

You ask me why

I look around

And see the world

Totally upside down,

It’s an easy thing

easy thing to know…

And people live

And people go,

The ticking clocks

Of hearts below

Started beating

a long time ago…

Bridge: Singing my song all alone,

It’s been a long time, a long time.. (x2)

Chorus: You’ve told me all these things

And left behind

A lonely girl who sings

And tries to find

Why you had to leave a long time ago.

Those cold damn nights

Where Mrs. Moon would wane

Got me going on

With Mary Jane.

It was the good old times,

good old times to show…

But as time goes on,

We start to feel

The ticking clock

That gets too real,

Drowning us in wisdom

and sorrow…

- Bridge

- Chorus

When the ceiling cries,

We celebrate

The endless knots and ties

That you created

In the heart you left a long time ago.

You should have told me everything you know,

Before leaving me, a long time ago
